ELEVATOR PITCH
“Armed with mystical guns, a young witch seeks vengeance against the Angelical Authority for destroying her coven. She infiltrates their Holy City to dismantle their power and avenge her sister's death."
GOAL
Develop a captivating top-down RPG inspired by Diablo 3, leveraging a player experience points-based ability system and a medieval town theme.
Using Kitty Engine (our own custom-made engine) and Unity, the project arms players with four unique abilities, basic combat mechanics, and an engaging progression system.
Drawing from 'Heroes of the Storm' art style, the game aims for immersive visuals and narrative as players seek vengeance against the Angelical Authority for destroying their coven."

DESIGN FOCUS
Designing a robust Diablo-inspired Top Down RPG, arming the player with a set of 4 unique unlockable abilities, basic combat range mechanics, mana, and XP level-up system.
The core design criteria was to create an extensive vertical world, making intelligent use of the top-down view of the camera, foreshadowing the playable areas, while guiding the player through the world.
Offering rewarding vistas to the player and creating immersion were musts for the design team.
